Course Overview

The Project

Imaginarium and Fire Tech will host Stop Motion Lego Animation Workshops for gifted girls around the theme ‘Sheroes’ with resulting animations to be showcased at Lady Beaufort. The ‘Sheroes’ project highlights stories of female champions of diversity in the world of STEAM …And who better to tell their stories than our next generation of gifted girls.

Workshop participants will research and tell the stories of inspirational women in their lives or the local science/ tech/ engineering industry.

With the mentorship of Fire Tech tutors, the Head of Imaginarium and Tempest Theatre’s Directors, students will produce their own 30-60 second stop-motion animation. These films will be curated and displayed during Fringe World 2019.
